Developed and introduced by Henry Gantt in 1917. Stands for Program Evaluation and Review Technique. Developed and introduced by the U.S. Navy in 1950.

Focus on the time required to complete a task It focuses on intertask relationships.
Straightforward and is not made for projects which need changes. Used in small projects. Complex and are made for a small module of the project. Used in large projects.
Cannot Display Interrelationship. Has Numerous Interconnecting Networks of Independent modules.
Provide Accurate Time Duration. Need to Predict the Time.
